Dinners for 6 + 2 Sign-up

6+2 or Friends, Fellowship, Feasting

Time for fun, fellowship and food! A great way to get to know people you only see Sunday mornings. Those who sign up will have the opportunity to get together three times over a 3 month period (one time per month) in a different home each month, have a picnic, or meet at a local restaurant. While your group is meeting new friends may be provided for you to include.

Dinners for 6+2 have three objectives:
  1. Fellowship
  2. Welcome Newcomers to the church.
Dinners for 6+2 are a social, newcomer event where members interact with new people. Those that participate in "Dinners for 6+2" need to realize that in its beginning the experience is one of fellowship. As the group reaches out it seeks to incorporate new people into the fellowship of the social event. That is where the plus two comes in.

How is this accomplished? The group of six meets four times. The group seeks to incorporate those plus two newcomers during those four months.
