Beginning March ninth and running through Easter March 23rd we will be preparing for a Miracle. Prepare for a Miracle is a series of sermons focusing on what God has done for us. This theme builds in scope up to Easter. If we were just able to receive what God has provided for us we will discover a spiritual synergy that would help us fulfill our potential as children of God. This series also address our self worth. Most people have low self esteem. God has already determined our worth and you will be surprised by just how much God values us. For Easter we will take a new look at what God did for us on the cross. Either way we need to Prepare for a Miracle if we are going to achieve the plan God has for us.

From the end of March through May 4th 2008 we begin a new series of sermons on healing the human heart. This series of six sermons on Healing Hearts deals with the fact that regardless of what we think our behavior comes out or our emotions. Therefore, the world in which you live is a manifestation of your heart. God looks past our appearance right to our heart because God knows that the conditions of our hearts will determine who we are and how we behave. Understanding the human and spiritual anatomy we realize that if we don’t get that heart whole then our intentions get in the way of what God has for us.
As the heart represents our emotional self our behavior shapes the ways we relate to others. Through childhood our hearts become damaged. When they do we are not as capable of making healthy choices. If we can face the truth of God’s love we are enabled to find the healing of our hearts.
When we go to the dentist it is not fun but we are glad for the smile. The goal of working on your heart is not to feel better but to be better for Jesus. Until you deal with these heart issues you will never know what it means to walk with God.
Through the “Spirit of the Mind” we deal with the fear of change and a root of bitterness. The question becomes how to exercise your will to choose healthy ways of relating and behaving. This series deals with evaluating and relying upon God’s help to find emotional healing.
